What you might be wondering
How long does research take?
Most projects are completed within 2–4 weeks. Complex cases involving international records or difficult-to-access archives may take longer. Your researcher will keep you informed throughout.
What if you can't find records for some ancestors?
Some records simply don't survive — fires, floods, and the passage of time take their toll. We'll always be honest about what we found and what we couldn't, and explain why. You only pay for genuine research effort.
Can I add the DNA analysis to any plan?
Yes — DNA Testing & Analysis can be added to any research package or purchased as a standalone service. It works best when paired with documentary research.
What does the Discovery Subscription monitor?
Our system checks newly digitized and published records across all 1,000+ databases we access — including newly released census data, digitized parish records, immigration manifests, and more — matching them against the names and dates in your family tree.
